Our trailer is situated back behind the church. This church was built in the 1960s. It is a nice size building. At one time the boarding school was situated across the street from the church. The church built the building for Seminary and Institute for the boarding school later it was changed for use for the branch.
We have around 35 people that come to church on Sunday. There are over 500 people on the rolls of the church. We sit on the boundary of the Navajo Reservation and most of our members are Native Americans.
The boarding school is now boarded up and fenced off. There is a new boarding school a mile and half down the road from the church.
Last year Seminary was held after church on Sunday. We are checking into the possibility of holding the class at the boarding school.
The branch has accepted us and made us feel very much at home. We can tell we will come to love the people here.
