De Chelly National Monument













De Chelly National Monument is beautiful.  We drove around the top where we can stop and look down.  The river has formed a canyon where the Navajo Indians still farm in the valley below.  It take a special permit to drive into the canyons. There are cliff dwellings in the canyon walls where the Anasazi  Indians lived long ago.
