Sarawak Cultural Center - A Living Museum

The Cultural Village portrays "live" the state's rich cultural diversity in one single place.  It is a 17 acre sprawling expanse on the foothill of the legendary Mount Santubong fronting the South China Sea with 7 authentic ethnic houses built around a man-made lake.

We spent Preparation Day, Monday afternoon, here.  The culture is so diverse in Sarawak that I have felt a craving to understand the different cultures and the people.  Although there is a lot of inter-marriage, there is still cultural differences between the groups.
